Gnomon Workshop: LIVEThe Gnomon Workshop is presenting its fifth workshop weekend, opening on the weekend of March 31st and April 1st. There is an impressive line up of instructors, and features speakers in and out of the Gnomon Workshop library. These artists will present on subjects including, illustration, character and concept design, storyboarding, modeling, game production pipeline, and character UVs. The schedule will include such artists as Brom, Dave Dorman, Stephan Martiniere, Kevin Hudson, Derek Thompson, Christian Alzmann, Jeremy Vickery, Warren Fu, Scott Spencer, Kolby Jukes. These artists have influenced the landscape of concept design, visual effects and game design, with work featured in films such as ‘Ghost Rider’, ‘Spider Man 3’, ‘Star Wars’ Episodes 1-3, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ 1-2, ‘War of the Worlds’, ‘Van Helsing’, ‘The Incredibles’, ‘Cars’ and ‘Ratatouille’ and in games such as the ‘Castle Wolfenstein’ franchise, ‘Golden Axe’, ‘Myst 5’, ‘Doom 2’ and comic books for DC, Chaos and Dark Horse.

There will also be a recruiting room for people to front up with their folios, to talk to several studios that will be coming along as well.

Saturday and Sunday March 31 - April 1, 2007, 10am-7pm.

Sound Stage 15, next door to the Gnomon School of VFX.

The Cost:
US$125 (non-refundable after March 28th, 2007) - Purchase tickets online and take a printed copy of your order confirmation and valid driver's license to the event. Please do not select shipping options, as we will not be issuing a printed ticket! Reserve early, tickets sell fast.

We'll provide light lunch, refreshments and surprises throughout the day. Seating is extremely limited, so please make sure you register really soon.
