As part of the International Workshop and Conference on Network Science 2007 (NetSci07), being held at the New York Hall of Science in May 2007 (see details here ), we are holding a Visualizing Network Dynamics& Competition (Funded by NSF).

 

This juried competition will result in a series of dynamic network visualizations which, in the estimation of the judges, will be among the best and most useful examples of such visualization in the field. Details about the competition are on the NetSci website. I wanted to make sure Siggraph is aware that this is taking place.
Also, we will be looking for other ways to show this work and help to inspire others in the field. If something like this would be of interest to show at a Siggraph conference, please let me know and I will keep you informed as the competition unfolds. The judging will take place through April 18th and showing of this work will take place at NetSci conference.
