CG
Computer Graphics or Computer generation, any graphic image created with the assistance of a computer.
CGI
Computer Generated Imagery, any graphic image created with the assistance of a computer.
Cel Animation
Animation that is the result of sequences of images drawn on individual clear acetate cels. Many aspects of traditional cel animation are now being supplemented by digital techniques.
Channel
For a given image, the sub-image that is composed only of the values from a single component of each pixel.
Colour Space
Any method for representing the colour in an image. Usually based on certain components such as RGB, HSV, etc.
Compositing
The manipulated combination of at least two source images to produce an integrated result.
Crawling
An undesirable artifact characterized by edges that do not remain stable over time.
Cut (edit)
A transition at a frame boundary from one clip to another.
