Raytracing
A method of rendering which calculates rays bouncing. For reflections, refractions and realistic shadows.

Real Time
(1) Displaying a sequence of images at the same speed as they will be viewed in their final form.
(2) Computational processing that appears to be nearly instantaneous.

Resolution Independence
The characteristic of a software package that allows the user to easily work with and move between an arbitrary number of different resolutions.

RGB
Red, green, and blue. The three primary colours, or a method of specifying the colours in an image based on a mix of these three components.
